The Committee for Environment and Health of the Bavarian Parliament has discussed the Citizens’ Report for Health in its session on April 7th, 2005. Officers from the Health Ministry presented both the method and the outcomes and reported about plans for the new health inititative “Gesund. Leben. Bayern.” (“Healthy. Living. Bavaria.”).
Members of Parliament greeted unanimously the Citizens’ Report and asked government mainly what consequences it will draw from the citizens’ recommendations. Opposition said that in this case it has to laud government. The Committee will talk about the Citizens’ Report and its consequences in future, too.
